Creative Districts Program Application

We will begin accepting applications for FY 25 beginning on July 1, 2024. If you would like to begin the application process, please contact our staff.

 

Please review the following steps to make sure you are ready to apply. We will not accept incomplete applications.

Once you’ve created a plan for your District, you can apply for Creative District Certification.

  1. Make sure your community meets the minimum requirements. Review Application Guidelines to learn more about the application process. Please note that a list of the questions in the application are included in the application guidelines.
  2. Schedule an official site visit of your potential district with Annette Roth, Community Development Manager, before you begin the application process. If your planning team makes changes to the district boundary after this visit, but before you submit your application, you MUST schedule another site visit.
  3. Submit a Letter of Interest to the program manager. We outline letter requirements in the Application Guidelines.
  4. After we approve your Letter of Interest, you have 60 calendar days to submit a full application. Your official site visit must take place before submitting the application.

You must submit your application through ArtsWA’s online application form. After you have submitted your letter of interest and are approved to apply, we will send you the link to the application. We will not accept applications in any other format.
