The arts are a vital component of a healthy and vibrant community. Partnering with community organizations, the Anacortes Creative District aims to support and promote their community as a hub for creative people and creative opportunities.
The District’s mission is to collaborate with local business leaders and other arts organizations within the community to create these economic opportunities, as well as identify resources and support for creative endeavors. Their goals are to enhance public engagement, drive capital improvements, and encourage growth of local businesses within the creative economy.

*The Anacortes Arts Festival will serve as the Anacortes Creative District administrator. After 63 years, the Festival is Anacortes’ oldest and largest arts organization located in the heart of the Creative District.
