ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Circles is a colorful geometric sculpture created by artist Kim Hoffman. The steel structure features circular, rectangular, and linear elements that seem to playfully interact. Originally commissioned for Selah High School, it is now located at Yakima Valley College.
This artwork was acquired for the State Art Collection in partnership with Selah School District.
ABOUT THE ARTIST
Oregon-based artist Kim Hoffman creates sculptures in wood and metal. He is a professor of art at Western Oregon University in Monmouth.
Hoffman received a Bachelor of Science degree from Oregon State University and a Master of Fine Arts degree from the University of Washington in Seattle.
