ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Tools for School is a ceramic sculptural installation by artist Joyce Moty. This piece is comprised of several interactive elements. Each sculptural element is overlaid with tiles. The tiles are printed with educational information, quotations, numbers, and state capitals. Located in an area where students wait for their parents after school, this piece reinforces the joy of learning new things.
This artwork was acquired for the State Art Collection in partnership with Peninsula School District.
