Composed of cut and painted fabrics, and stretched over a wooden frame, Dana Boussard's piece 'The Wind Surrounds Us, We are Caught Unaware' celebrates our relationship to the environment and depicts the powerful winds that characterize the Montana landscape where Boussard grew up.

This artwork was acquired for the State Art Collection in partnership with Kent School District.
