ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Circus Spirit is a sculpture created by artist Timothy Siciliano. It is part of his body of work inspired by circuses and carnivals. He notes, "The art of the carnival and circus is 'people' art created by people not of high education, bud handed down craft that is carried on in tradition. Circuses and carnival have, historically, been an entertainment for all levels of society."
