Composed of bold, expressive colors and emotive forms, The Sisters II by Harlow Morgan shows two embracing female figures. Morgan's main interest in her art is people and their relationships.
This artwork was acquired for the State Art Collection in partnership with Seattle School District.
ABOUT THE ARTIST
Seattle-based artist Harlow Morgan creates narrative and figurative paintings and prints. Her work explores what she terms "compassionate realism" and the unique stories we imagine when we view art. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Art from Antioch University in San Francisco in 1983.
