ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Foggy Farm Morning was captured by photographer David Grant Best in the Snoqualmie Valley in the spring of 1988. He describes the composition as an "experiential starting point" for the viewer to recall or imagine childhood adventures, rural family roots, and hopeful expectations.
This artwork was acquired for the State Art Collection in partnership with Nooksack Valley School District.
ABOUT THE ARTIST
Northwest photographer David Grant Best composes images of the natural environment and rural communities. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in sociology from the University of Washington in 1972.
