ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This painting is part of a body of work based on artist Juliana Heyne's travels to Eastern Europe in the early 1990s, where she visited Prague, Budapest and rural communities. Europa/Prague 23 seeks to communicate "a sense of place, filtered through memory and dramatizing real world images."
This artwork was acquired for the State Art Collection in partnership with Renton School District.
ABOUT THE ARTIST
