ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Rower II is a richly layered painting by artist Ed Musante, and is part of a body of work that features a solitary figure, composed to express a mood or feeling. He notes that these works "usually materialize as a result of sanding into layers of paint and paper and letting the resultant marks dictate the direction of the painting."
This artwork was acquired for the State Art Collection in partnership with Battle Ground School District.
