ABOUT THE ARTWORK
H2O-to-O2 is a sculptural installation by artist Greg Ragland, comprised of three stainless steel salmon forms in a gravel "stream." The artist invites viewers to "use your imagination to join in the shallow depths with the swimming Chinook salmon. H2O-to-O2 are not typical cold blooded fish. They are wonderfully warm engaging sculptural forms just waiting for you to pretend to swim with them." Ragland is a non-Native artist.
This artwork was acquired for the State Art Collection in partnership with Meridian School District.
