ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Scott Kolbo and Lance Sinnema went through a lengthy process to achieve this artwork: their mock battle as performance art was video-taped, and select still shots were printed and passed back and forth between the artists who separately worked on each photograph with charcoal and ink. The results are imbued with warmth, humor, and irreverence.
This artwork was acquired for the State Art Collection in partnership with Peninsula College.
ABOUT THE ARTIST
Artists Scott Kolbo and Lance Sinnema worked collaboratively to create satirical and conceptual artworks. Both taught at Whitworth University in Spokane, Eastern Washington.
