ABOUT THE ARTIST
Northwest artist Max Benjamin creates expressive landscape and abstract paintings.
Benjamin graduated in 1954 from the University of Washington in Seattle. In 1959, he moved to Guemes Island in North Puget Sound, Western Washington, where he still lives. He was honored with a Washington State Governor's Arts and Heritage Award in 1998.
