ABOUT THE ARTWORK

Story Animals I and II are part of a series of quilts created by artist Margaret Liston using recycled fabric fragments and leftovers from other projects. Combining characteristics from various animals and shapes, Liston describes these imagined animals as "ready to audition for stories to be created by the viewers."

This artwork was acquired for the State Art Collection in partnership with Fife School District.
