Artist Janet Maple composed Turn using stylized figurative imagery. The vines, ferns, wildlife and gesturing human figures recur in Maple's paintings, which explore psychological and spiritual themes, as well as man's relationship to nature.

This artwork was acquired for the State Art Collection in partnership with Northshore School District.
