Governor Inslee visits Billy Frank Jr. statue workspace

On Thursday, June 13, Governor Inslee visited Haiying Wu’s workspace at South Puget Sound Community College to observe the progress on the statue of Billy Frank Jr. The Governor was welcomed by Willie Frank III—Billy’s son—and spoke to Billy’s importance to Washington State. Governor Inslee spoke in public about this project on January 10, 2024, at the maquette unveiling.
